If you're at this site, I probably don't need to explain what sulfite sensitivity is, or why it's a problem. Several members of my family have become sensitive to sulfites in their food, and I recently made some business cards for them to hand out at restaurants. These cards could be given to waitstaff to take back to the kitchen, and allowed cooks to check ingredients and then find or create menu items that would not cause a sulfite reaction.

I am happy to say that the cards have been a great success for these members of my family. In addition, many cooks, waitstaff, and other people with sulfite allergies have asked to keep the cards as a reference. Given this level of interest, and that about 1% of the population in the United States (some 3 million people) are sensitive to Sulfites, I decided to make these cards publically available.
